Reservation Guidelines

  1. To maintain the overall quality of your stay, please inform us of the exact number of guests at the time of booking, including both adults and children. If there are infants or toddlers, please inform us in advance. If additional guests arrive on the day of check-in, we may charge an extra fee accordingly.

  2. Extra Person and Bed Charges:

    1. Due to room configurations, extra beds are only available for "Lake View Japanese-style Double" and "Street View Japanese-style Double" rooms, with a limit of one extra bed per room.
    2. Children under the age of 5 do not occupy a bed and are welcome in the room with one child per room (free extra bed service is not available).
    3. For children over 6 yeas old or under 110 cm tall, we charge an additional NT$800 per child. An extra bed is available for NT$1000 per child, including breakfast.
    4. For adults aged 12 and above, the additional charge is NT$1000 per adult, with an extra bed costing NT$1200, including breakfast.

  3. Baby and Toddler Items Provided by the Hotel: Includes: Crib, Baby Bathtub, Sterilizer.

  4. Check-in and Check-out Times:

    1. Check-in: After 3:00 PM (If you arrive early, we provide luggage storage service).
    2. Check-out: Before 11:00 AM.

  5. Deposit Policy:

    1. A deposit of NT$2000 per room is required within 3 days of making the reservation. ※ If the booking is made less than 14 days before the arrival date, payment should be made the day after the booking is confirmed; otherwise, the reservation will be automatically canceled.
    2. If payment is not received by the deadline, we will send a final reminder, and if no response is received or we cannot reach you, the booking will be considered automatically canceled.
    3. Deposits can be paid by cash, bank transfer, or credit card authorization.
    4. Bank details for deposit transfer: Bank: Yuchi Township Farmers’ Association Sun Moon Lake Branch ATM Code: 600 Account Number: 57703010006115 Account Name: Sun Moon Lake Hongbin Hotel ※ After completing the bank transfer, please call us to confirm the last five digits of the transfer account number to finalize your booking.

  6. Cancellation Policy: After paying the deposit/total amount, if a refund is requested, the refund will be calculated based on the following timeframes and refund percentages, minus a one-time processing fee (NT$100):

    ■ For Deposit Payments, cancellations are handled as follows:

    1. Cancellations made at least 14 days prior to the check-in date: 100% refund of the deposit.
    2. Cancellations made 10 to 13 days before check-in: 70% refund of the deposit.
    3. Cancellations made 7 to 9 days before check-in: 50% refund of the deposit.
    4. Cancellations made 4 to 6 days before check-in: 40% refund of the deposit.
    5. Cancellations made 2 to 3 days before check-in: 30% refund of the deposit.
    6. Cancellations made 1 day before check-in: 20% refund of the deposit.
    7. No refund for cancellations made on the day of check-in or if no cancellation notice is received.

Accommodation Guidelines

  1. Please present your ID upon check-in for verification and registration.
  2. Please keep noise levels to a minimum to maintain the quality of your stay.
  3. In accordance with the Tobacco Hazard Prevention Act, smoking is strictly prohibited inside the hotel, including guest rooms and bathrooms.
  4. Do not bring any drugs or hazardous materials (including prohibited items) into the hotel. Any illegal activity will be reported to the police.
  5. Pets are not allowed in the hotel.
  6. Please do not use gas stoves, induction cookers, or other dangerous appliances in the rooms. Turn off the power when not in use and conserve water.
  7. The hotel does not have a parking lot. Please park your vehicle at Taiwan Union - Zhongxing Parking Lot. A parking fee of NT$250 per day applies.
  8. When leaving your room, please lock the door. Please keep your valuables in a safe place.
  9. In response to Nantou County Government's energy-saving and carbon reduction efforts, we will no longer provide disposable personal toiletries starting July 1, 2023. The room will only provide shampoo, body wash, bath towels, and towels. Please bring your own personal toiletries.
